Featuring Comedians:
  • Chani Lisbon. Chani Lisbon is a performer at Comedy Clubs across the city. She was brought up in a sheltered, Orthodox Jewish home, and was in her twenties before she met someone who was queer. That person turned out to be her.
  • Talia Reese. Wendy Williams Show, Spike TV. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, her set is high-energy, quick paced and autobiographical. The New York Post recently featured a nearly full-page article about her life and comedy entitled, "Orthodox Jewish comic finds balance between raunch and religion," and called her a "Hot Ticket". Talia is a regular contributor to Fox News and Compound Media, and has appeared on The Wendy Williams Show and Spike TV. Newsday Long Island has also taken notice, calling her a "rising star". Talia has completed residencies at The Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ and Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She continues to be a constant presence in New York's top clubs, as well as Jewish events and fundraisers.

  • Dana Friedman. She-Devil Comedy Festival. Dana Friedman is, in all likelihood, New York's first Orthodox Jewish, transsexual comic. Her performances address a wide variety of topics, including many outside the very unusual norms of standup comedy.
She is the producer of Queernucopia An Evening of LGBT and Allied Comedy Goddesses and Heathens , and Right Down The Middle (East), (no missionaries, just funny positions), which brings together Muslim, Jewish, Israeli, Arab, and Palestinian standup comics.
She has appeared with or opened for Janeane Garofalo, Lizz Winstead, Yanis Pappas, Christian Finnegan, Julia Scotti, Tim Dillon, and other major headliners at clubs and theaters all over the New York tri-state area, and occasionally beyond, when her parole officer is on vacation.
  • Liz Glazer. Tahoe Improv. Liz Glazer used to be a tenured law professor but after 9 years teaching law, she retired to be a standup comedian, writer, and actor. Liz opens frequently for Myq Kaplan and has appeared at the Tahoe Improv. Sheís currently based in LA where she runs 'I'm Sure', Historia, and the Friend Zone.

  • Sam Morrison. Winner: Make Me Laugh Festival & A Stand Up NY Headliner (2019).

  • Mark Benjamin. Mark Benjamin grew up in small town Pennsylvania as the big gefilte fish in a small pond. Since moving to New York he can be seen performing at Stand Up NY and most Greenwich Village sidewalk corners.

  • Cory Kahaney from Comedy Central, HBO as the headliner for the evening. Cory Kahaney has been busy. She recently appeared The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was a hit on the 2016 season of Americaís Got Talent and was featured in Catskills on Broadway. Cory has been seen on The Late Show with David Letterman and performed a record 7 times on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Cory is also a regular on The View, Fox & Friends and The Moms. Ms. Kahaney is no stranger to reality shows from Americaís Funniest Mom to Next Food Network Star even the Apprentice! But Cory is probably best known as a grand finalist on NBCís Last Comic Standing. Cory Kahaney was named Best Comedian in NYC by Backstage and Best female comedian NYC by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets. And even though sheís had specials on Comedy Central and HBO, her parents still wish she married a doctor!
